At Friends of Children of Brevard, we're committed to changing the tough reality where kids’ lives are turned upside down and their stuff is treated like just another item. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re all about making sure kids rescued from rough situations get more than what they’d normally get from the system.

Who We Are: Helping Foster Kids Succeed

In Brevard County, almost 1,000 kids are in foster care, looking for a safe place. We’re here to support these kids who have faced tough times. Friends of Children is a source of hope, giving them not just the basics like clothes and shoes but also the simple joys that make childhood special. Through our programs, these kids get to enjoy normal experiences like sports, summer camps, and birthday and holiday presents.

Our amazing volunteers, driven by real passion, advocate for these vulnerable kids. Even though our costs are low, the difference we make is huge. Together, we’re creating better futures.
